For nearly two years Noora Alanne has worked as the Executive Director at the Media Industry Research Foundation of Finland (Media-alan tutkimussäätiö) and as an expert on growth at Finnmedia (Medialiitto). She is also a member of the advisory board of WAN-IFRA Global Alliance for Media Innovation. Noora has merely a decade of experience in working in various roles for international media companies. Most recently as a digital marketing specialist and as a digital project manager. She has a passion for research and has done a PhD in information systems at Aalto University school of Business and at UC Berkeley School of Information on how media companies are adapting to the platform economy. She is a frequent speaker/host at media events/seminars/workshops and visiting lecturer at Aalto University.
